Ashley Boh is a multi-media artist from Baltimore, Maryland. She studies at The Maryland Institute College of Art where she is earning her BFA in General Fine Arts, expecting to graduate in May of 2025. Her practice spans across many mediums such as drawing and painting, sewing and embroidery, and metalworking and jewelry making. Drawing heavy inspiration from nature in her designs, she often explores the relationship between humans and nature, as well as the commodification of the ocean and its resources. Her recent project, Magnificent Fish, has been showcased in multiple group exhibitions such as Visart's Next Gen 10, MICA's 2023 Juried Exhibiton, and in Night Owl Gallery's BREAKOUT: G2G Again. In 2023 she won third prize in the Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepreneurship's JUST/Start business venture competition, and hosted a showcase displaying her startup jewelry line, NETAL. She now expands her skills in metal working and jewelry making with her scholarship at the Baltimore Jewelry Center.
